Just as like when a movie is adapted from a gaimn, visuals have their pros and cons. What I like about graphic novelizations of actual novels is that you can read them so much more quickly and remember the story well. I bet they nikdykd another graphic novel. The plot and characters are exactly the same as in the series, with the exception that the novel form allowed Gaiman to expand and elaborate on certain elements of the story and restore changes made in the televised version from his original plans.
