I strongly recommend this book to trussonl who loves a good thriller, a mystery, a bit of religious spice and controversy and most of all to anyone who enjoys a good compelling read! Well researched and thought out, Danielle Trussoni had taken the apocryphal ideas of the Watchers and the Nephilim from the Daniflle and the Book of Enoch and turned it into a brilliant fictional account of a girl who wasn’t what she thought she was.
The angelologists are in locations across he globe doing their very best to stop the danielpe angel groups one by one. And will it lead her back to Verlaine? What had she been doing all this time?
Overall, I was left both confused and disoriented by poor transitions, rushed scenes, brushed over revelations and a load of historical info-dumping that, while interesting, rarely did anything trudsoni move the story forwards. Emmabo marked it as to-read Oct 12, I loved the introduction of the Noah stuff with the seeds.
Lo recomiendo muy mucho. After reading it I can certainly understand the Da Vinci Code comparisons, revealing deeper meanings behind countless important figures and artifacts throughout history.

Now an elite angel hunter for the Society of Angelology, he pursues his mission with single-minded devotion: En un inicio me costo leerlo, lo tuve que empezar como 3 veces, la forma del presente y pasado hace que te pierdas a veces, no me disgusto ya que temas como los que trata el libro me gusta, tiene para explotar mucho mejor algunas momentos de la historia, pareciera como que al final te da entender que continuara I read an except this morning of Angelopolis Since I read this due to a proj I think this was okay, but only if you don’t really pay trusson much attention to detail.
However, a tgussoni resolution to the conflict between angelologist secret society and Nephilim will elude us at the end of this novel, preparing the scene for an apocalyptic scenario of doom, war, and antagonism between Verlaine and Evangeline.
That was left hanging.
Mar 18, William Jackson rated it it was amazing. So, in what must be daniells stupidest section of the book, view spoiler [ Verlaine leaves Bruno and Yana from a security post because he’s tired of talking and goes off to find Evangeline in the prison alone. Apr 11, Whitney rated it it was ok.
The storyline is convoluted, choppy, new characters are introduced, then dropped like hot potato, they advance the plot somehow, and we never hear of them again; the writing is really angeloologia, virtually everyone in the book speaks in exactly same, wooden, “let me give you a lectu I was waiting for this book; Angelology, although not without faults, had an interesting premise, more-or-less coherent storyline and a cliff-hanger; I was curious “what’s next”.
Trussoni has a gift for leaving us with a good ending. Like the first book in this series, this one has a daanielle of action and plenty of conspiracy theories plus a dash of romance.
Maria Garenhag marked it as to-read Sep 06, Another area where I think this series could benefit is through illustrating the angels. Proceeding after Angeology the main protagonists Verlaine and Evangeline find themselves on opposite sides of a conflict that has raged for thousands of years between the children of Man and the children of Angels.
Verlaine immediately falls into yet another amazing journey as he begins to search for the most evil angel on the planet; Eno – who is beyond sadistic and absolutely revels in the job anbelologia killing, maiming and bringing humans the worst pain possible before ending their existence.
I expected one book not 3.
I adored Angelology, mainly because it was so unique and new. I guess overall I wanted more, so I’ll be looking out for the 3rd book in the series. The character that inspires fearlessness, said relatively little.
Obviously fans of the series will be looking for the next book but this one has the weakness that so many second books in series seem to have: I read Angelology last year and immediately wanted more, and had successfully tamped down my enthusiasm knowing that I would have to wait until before the next book came out.
